| These are a few of my favorite things: hot chocolate. playing board games with my kids. feeling comfortable with friends. waking up to a kiss. letting it all out. remembering what made people like my granddad so neat. not working at a bank. cooking over a campfire. surviving. autumn colors. tavern meals with friends. getting out of debt. my canon xTi. spinach. being quiet. cheesey b-movies. shel silverstein. spreading my wings. taking pictures so beautiful they don't need photoshop. reading. shredding the past. welcoming the future. I am a mother of two. I have a day to day battle with depression and bipolar disorder with myself and my kids. I see the world through lenses that belong to me and no one else. I am currently attending college, working toward a dual Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Health Care Administration. My father was a shutterbug, and I grew up fascinated with his old Nikon 35mm. My mother is a decorating fiend who can come up with the greatest ideas, no thought needed. I just take what I see and put it on paper. And sometimes I take what I feel and put it on canvas. But I cannot imagine a life without being able to express myself via art. My goals are not unlike those of most other people. I have always believed (and been told by more than one wise man) that the key to a happy, successful life is to find a job that you'd do for free. This is my love. Thank you for stopping by to check it out. |
